Douglas Security has been a trusted name in Halifax‑area protection since 1968. Founded by Mountie Bob Douglas, the company began as a small family‑run operation built on integrity, reliability, and a commitment to keeping local families and businesses safe.

Bob’s son, Robbie, continued that tradition when he joined the business in 1976, helping it grow while maintaining the same personal, community‑focused service customers had come to rely on.

Today, the next generation has stepped forward. Douglas Security is now proudly operated by Bob’s grandson Greg, continuing the legacy of a long‑standing family business that has served the Halifax region for more than five decades. While the industry has evolved, our values have not — dependable service, honest communication, and genuine care for the people we protect remain at the heart of everything we do.
